I need a premium membership, but I have a few projects underway and coming up that tie up all my funds. So I'm asking you to help me out. I've turned this into a donation pool for the points needed for the 12-month membership. So that we all get our worth out of it. ALL donors will receive a prize, even if it's only 1 point. While I accept gifted memberships and will reward you for them, they will not count towards this contest. This contest will continue to run until the donation pool has been filled. Any donations received afterwards will still be gifted with a prize but it will be determined later what you will rewarded with.

So I think it's necessary to show you some of the projects I'm involved in. That way you can determine if I'm deserving of the donation.

Ball-Jointed Dolls:

I'm taking the very big and expensive step into the creation of Ball-Jointed Dolls. As I cannot afford to purchase any pre-assembled bodies ($400 each for the two I want to start with, no heads/wigs/clothes/acc./ANYTHING included), I have decided to sculpt my own. This is a very elaborate process (also not cheap) and there are many chances to fail, but I feel that I would appreciate them more anyway should I make them completely from scratch. While I don't expect my first two to really succeed, I think it will be a HUGE learning experience. And I know, if I stick to it, eventually I could come out with something really beautiful.

Expanding Traditional Art:

My next big creative step, is to try and expand my skill with the pencil. To do this, I am thoroughly convinced that I need to expand my tool kit first. I have realized that a lot of the traditional art I have come to appreciate uses a lot more than I have available for use. I am in the market for a larger graphite pencil set, a carbon pencil set, a better eraser, a smudge/blender tool, etc. Again, this is not a cheap endeavor and I know it will take significant savings to reach that goal.

Plushies/Clothing:

This is sort of the last stop on my project train. As I work on my own BJD's I will be getting a lot of use out of my new sewing machine. Which is awesome. But as I use it, I want to expand my skills on it by making plushies (as gifts or for myself) and also clothes and costumes. I've always wanted to make all my own costumes for Halloween and cosplay, etc. I've always always wanted to try my hand at creating my own clothes (as standard sizes don't usually fit me) and getting a more creative wardrobe.

Prizes:

The part everyone is actually interested in (Ha ha). So everyone who donates will receive a prize immediately after contributing, but the top 3 biggest donators will receive a much larger ADDITIONAL prize for being so helpful. These prizes (for obvious reasons) will not be delivered until the donation pool has been completed.

1st Place:
Requirements: Be the top donator to my pool at the time of completion
Prize: A commissioned BJD delivered to your home
This will be a doll I make specifically for you, from scratch, and I will ship it to your home - no additional charge to you. This will be started after I finish the two I already have planned (I'm already getting started so there shouldn't be a wait in between) so I can go into it with experience and deliver a better product. You may have it commissioned. It can be anything you want, I will do FanArt, OC's, take any random idea and make it work for you. Or (if you choose) I will create a character for you to enjoy.

2nd Place:
Requirements: Be the 2nd top donator to my pool at the time of completion
Prize: A commissioned traditional piece delivered to your home
This will be a work of art I make specifically for you and I will ship the original (Fully-Framed) to your home - no additional cost to you. This will be started after I expand my tool kit and will be able to create a better product. You may have it commissioned. It can be anything you want, I will do FanArt, OC's, take any random idea and make it work for you. Or (if you choose) I will create a piece for you to enjoy.

3rd Place:
Requirements: Be the 3rd top donator to my pool at the time of completion
Prize: A commissioned traditional piece dedicated to you
This will be a work of art I make specifically for you. It will be submitted here on DA and it will include a link to to your profile and show off some of your work. It will also be submitted into as many groups as possible so you get significant advertisement. This will be started after I expand my tool kit and will be able to create a better product. You may have it commissioned. It can be anything you want, I will do FanArt, OC's, take any random idea and make it work for you. Or (if you choose) I will create a piece for you to enjoy.

All Donators:
Requirements: Donate at least 1 point to my pool
Prizes: A dedication made immediately after your contribution (No need to wait till the contest is over)
A feature on my profile of you and your work
I will go through your gallery and favorites and determine what I think you might like (you may also make a suggestion at any time via a note) and draw something distinctly for you. I will also link to your profile and upload to as many groups as possible so you may think of this as an advertisement. After the pool is completed I will compile a feature of all the people who made a donation and show off one of your best works.
